Through the escalating numbers and increasing awareness of online sting operations, video gaming avatars, and social networking websites, issues of identity and race in cyberspace have come under hard scrutiny. The panel, comprised of artists and academics from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and other countries within Asia will discuss these crucial and controversial issues from within the contrasting perspectives of their own diverse cultures.

• The panel is convened by Kóan Jeff Baysa, a curator, writer, critic, physician, and Whitney Independent Study Program Curatorial alumnus.
