Institutional Presentation Statement

ISEA International (formerly Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts) board members Anne Nigten and Wim van der Plas presented the on-line archive of the ISEA symposia from 1988 to 2006. The archive was built with financial aid of the Dutch Mondriaan Foundation and an additional subsidy from the (also Dutch) VSB-Fund. The project was managed by Nadia Palisser and realised with the aid of a number of interns from several different studies.

The archive contains the papers presented at the series of symposia, as well as artist statements, information on panels, workshops etc., documentation on ISEA art events, images, photo’s and video.

A representative of the Mondriaan Foundation was present at the meeting, in order to assess the results.
