Artist Statement
Inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono designs, and the bird which appeared in this work was the legendary king of the birds , “Hohoh” (Phoenix).
Technically, used a modeler which made unit objects grow densely on surfaces,
and so that made feathers of birds or petals of flowers.
This was kind of procedure-based modeler and animator developed by Debuchi.
