“Technoetics” is the coinage of the words, “technology” and “noetics.” This lecture gave a lot of suggestions mainly about  creative awareness and that technoetic aesthetics about artificial life will take the place of classic interest in an ostensible image of the world.

  • Roy Ascott has acted as a judge for many media art festivals in Europe and America as a new media theorist and a pioneer of telematic arts. His representative works are “Planetary Network” for Venice Biennale ’86 and “Aspects of Gaia” for Als Electronica ’89.
