Introductory Statement

The ISEA2023 programme brings together a large number of artists, researchers and high-level experts selected in the framework of the international call for projects launched last October. More than 1,400 proposals from 70 countries were officially selected and validated by more than 230 jurors from the artistic and academic world. This official selection is also completed
by the “Focus”, a programme of meetings and cross-reflections on particularly remarkable local initiatives. The 16 programmed Focus are therefore all singular and inspiring initiatives led by recognised personalities, which thus highlight French excellence in the field of digital creation. Through these encounters, we hope to multiply the collaborative links between the international sphere and the French creative fabric, in order to hybridize the inspirations and project dynamics between the actors of the creative revival.
