A presentation about the digital archive of V2_Lab for the Unstable Media outlining some of the strategies to bring out different histories of electronic art that narrate the art form’s critical role in giving meaning to and (re-)interpreting the real-world effects of technology.

V2_, Lab for the Unstable Media is an interdisciplinary center for art and media technology in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It strives to build a ‘living archive’ of electronic art, using its own documentation from over 40 years, made accessible on its website. This presentation outlines some of the strategies to bring out the different histories of electronic art that narrate the art form’s critical role in giving meaning to and (re-)interpreting the real-world effects of technology. https://v2.nl/archive
