Extended Programme Presentation
June 11-18, SonarÀgora debate area

ISEA2022 Barcelona and Sónar, with the coordination of the new Art, Science and Technology Hub from Barcelona, Hac Te, present an alliance with the aim of promoting the relations between the academic and research community, the artists and the public.

Within this collaboration, Sónar co-presents three sessions of screenings from the ISEA Conference Programme on the topic of future possibilities regarding gender, environment, human rights and machines. (See https://www.isea-archives.org/isea2022-art-events: Screenings)

At the same time, ISEA2022 Barcelona collaborates in the new SonarÀgora debate area, which will host a series of masterclasses, workshops and other activities. These are aimed at professionals in the creative industries, designed to help them get to grips with the themes of Sónar+D 2022 (Web3, AI, Ecology).

These sessions include ‘Future of Music: AI-driven Virtual Artists’, presented by Sensorium Galaxy and featuring Alejandra Ghersi (Arca), ‘What you really need to know about Web3’ presented Bas Grasmayer & Kaitlyn Davies, ‘How the music industry can use data for good’ presented by DICE, and a ‘DJing in VR’ demo presented by Pioneer DJ.

In total, there are nine different activities spread across Thursday and Friday at Sónar by Day.
