- Aurélie Besson (CA) is currently the director and artistic co-director of Molior, an international media art exhibitions producer with projects in China, Brazil, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland and Canada. She curated several projects in the field of art, technologies and sciences. Based in Prague between 2007 and 2010, she previously led collaborative European projects and events in the field of art and technology. She is a Phd candidate at Université du Québec à Montréal. Her thesis project, codirected by L. Poissant and V. Frak, deals with the embodiment and the senses of movement during interactive artwork experiences. She organized ten conferences with Montreal universities. She coordinated the production of the book Lumières de la ville (PUQ) directed by L. Poissant. She published several articles on digital arts in books and magazines. She holds a Master’s degree in Communications (Université Lyon 2, FR; Universiteit Utrecht, NL) and a Master’s degree in cultural development and project management (Université Lyon 2). Molior*) is an organization specialized in the production of exhibitions and artistic projects which make use of technologies as a creation, expression and action tool. Since its foundation in 2001, Molior has presented numerous innovative projects in Canada as well as on the international scene in collaboration with multiple dissemination partners.
