wassaygane abi-mazina’igan | maps of home and glowing bones (2020) is an experimental video and sonic work. Using a variety of technologies and strategies, the work seeks to create maps to better see living space-times I consider (a) home. In this work, I am relying on the extra-sensory abilities of technologies to allow me to see more clearly what is often hiddenness of home. Home as a living space regardless of my own awareness of it. A personal attempt to becomes friends with spaces lost to time and shortness of the senses.
