Artist Statement

2019_ACT_Festival_FoodHack @ ISEA2019

Human Makgeollii is a painting work of reconstructing landscape of microorganism of one individual with ‘microorganism portrait’. It conducts researches on individual microbial community of the late Lee Kyung Hae, patriotic martyr who was a peasant movement activist by utilizing microbiology and forensic science. • Ting Tong Chang (b.1982, Taipei, Taiwan) is an artist who lives and works in Taipei and London. Chang is known for his collaborative projects through a variety of media including installation, video, and theatre.
