  • Cecilia Vilca holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Arts from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain and a Graphic Design Degree from School of Design Toulouse-Lautrec, Lima, Peru. She performs her artistic activity with technology in speech and materialization, and explores its relationship with gender, society and nature. Many of her projects are designed with public participation and interactivity in mind. She also has a deep commitment to the cultural heritage of her country, Peru. To that end, she founded and is in charge of PatriaLab, a division of MyAP (an electron microscopy laboratory) dedicated to developing these kinds of projects.  ceciliavilca.com
