Artists Statement

Conducting Studies is a series of ongoing explorations of musical embodiment; a translation of the physical performance of an orchestra conductor to visual imagery representing the conductor’s movements, as captured through the motion of the conductor’s baton.

• Marco Pinter creates artwork and performances which fuse physical kinetic form with live visualizations. He has a PhD in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA, and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University, USA.  marcopinter.com
