  • Mark-David Hosale is an artist and composer who use technology as a means of expression. Mark-David has a Ph.D. in Media Arts and Technology from the University of California, USA. He is an Assistant Professor in Digital Media in the School of Arts, Media, Performance, and Design at York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has had works exhibited and performed internationally at conferences, universities, and festivals; and has given lectures and taught at institutions in Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, Canada, and the United States. The connecting tissue of his interdisciplinary interests lies in his exploration of nonlinear narrative as a representation of information, time, and space. His research and work also explores the boundaries between the virtual and the physical world. Whether as part of an installation or performance work, the virtual spaces he creates are technologically transparent, sophisticated and virtuosic, as well as intuitive to experience and use.
