Artist Statement

VIDEOTHEQUE

A video trilogy of ‘Camera, Monitor, Frame’, ‘Observer/ Observed’ and ‘Observer/ Observed/ Observer’ is to create a semiology of video as a video work rather than a written text. It investigates the relationships between concrete representation and phonetic communication.
