Abstract

This paper shows the working prototype of a mixed-media musical instrument we named Tecnocordio and focuses in the different techniques used in its creation. By its creation we investigated some of the least expensive techniques in digital luthiery, in the hope that it could be of benefit not only to our future endeavors but also to other artists or institutions with a low budget.
