Institutional Presentation

The long-term intention of the Public Art Commission is to promote and support the work of UAE based artists in public spaces in Dubai, whilst enhancing our local spaces whilst energizing our local, unused spaces to capitalize on social interaction. Al Ghurair Centre has a special place in the hearts of Dubai’s residents as a symbol of early beginnings, ambition, progress, achievement and durability. Five final concepts will be commissioned for production by Al Ghurair Centre and installed permanently in and around Al Ghurair Centre in Deira.
