Artist Statement

Brief attempt to show and make visible dreams. Materials present in this sequence: liquids, water, mercury, exchanging their matter, formspheres, drops, tunnels, are the symbols created by the subconscious for a visual expression of archetypal ideas. Those archetypes are found in all civilisations, all cultures, throughout the ages. The application of computer graphics has been for me the occasion to use my previous studies and experience while synthesizing them together. I think, you can forget about material constraints and consequently be freer in expression and creation with computers. For me, the computer represents the whole human scientific and spiritual experience so that it is a universal “tool” for the artist.
