Artists Statement

This is a performance that combines different languages: electronic music, reading, video screening and text in a cosy environment similar to an Arabic café.

• Giovanni Dal Monte, aka La Jovenc, received the first guitar after being moved by “The House of the Rising Sun”. A childhood spent listening to rock music whilst the others played football and learning to strum for himself. Recording the riffs that come through his mind onto cassette.
