[ISEA98] Panel: David Crow (moderator) – Visual Languages

Panel Statement

Daivd Crow is currently involved in research projects based around the exploration of visual language in a typographic framework. His research partner is Yaki Molcho (Co-Director, Tel Aviv Centre for Design Studies). Earlier this year, a Liverpool Art School research award enabled David to initiate a programme of work on a dual alphabet font which will be realised through a publication entitled ‘Dialogue’. As part of this panel, the research team will present the work alongside discussion of the issues raised. This will follow an introductory session on the transitions in visual language. Artists, designers, academics and theorists will contribute to these developments and their interpretation at ISEA98.
